Sinopec successfully developed colored melt blown fabric for the first time

At the critical moment of COVID-19's turning point, the global epidemic situation continued to improve.

Generally, medical masks are white, but Europeans prefer to wear colored masks. If white meltblown cloth is used as the middle layer, sometimes there will be white leakage and other defects. Yizheng Chemical fiber actively carried out research and optimization. By adjusting the formula, optimizing the process and other measures, it not only met the European consumption habits, but also avoided the white leakage defects and solved the technical problems.

Meltblown cloth, commonly known as the "heart" of mask, is used as the filter layer in the middle of mask and is the core raw material for mask production. Meltblown cloth produced by Yizheng Chemical fiber has good filtration, barrier, heat preservation and adsorption properties. Since the second half of 2020, while fully ensuring the supply of domestic meltblown fabrics, they have actively explored the international market and exported their products directly to Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions.

Since the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia, Sinopec has responded positively to the call of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to increase production and supply medical materials and raw materials, and to serve the overall situation of the epidemic. We have launched 16 emergency melt spraying production lines in Yanshan petrochemical and Yizheng chemical fiber emergency. With 76 days, we have built the world's largest production base of 10000 ton scale melt spraying cloth from less than to 76 years, with an annual capacity of over 13 thousand and 500 tons. Since it was put into production, Sinopec has produced 4764 tons of high-quality melt blown cloth, helping to increase the production of nearly 5 billion high-quality medical flat masks.
